Precision Medicine is defined by the Precision Medicine Initiative as “an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that takes into account individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person.” This approach, therefore, allows doctors and researchers to be able to more accurately predict which prevention and treatment strategies will work in which groups of people for a particular disease.

Bruntwood SciTech was impressed by our use of our cell signalling profiling service KScan® which allows user to rank the activity of enzymes in a tissue like a tumour, adding a phosphate group to proteins in order to turn them from their inactive form to an active form. They also liked the fact that our preclinical data shows that the KScan® service can predict a drug response much more accurately than using genomic data.
